Possible ADSL Routing Issues

Posted: Thursday, December 21st, 2006 at 09:06 by Neil Watson

Our ADSL platform is currently experiencing issues routing traffic, our engineers are working on the issue and are hopeful to restore service as soon as possible. We will update as soon as further information is available.

  1. Neil Watson says:

All DSL services have now been restored and have been stable for approximately 45 minutes. The issue was identified as a routing loop between two of our DSL aggregation routers. We do not anticipate a re-occurrence of the issue and will continue to monitor throughout the day.

L2TP problem

Posted: Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 at 23:27 by Steve Lalonde

just had a problem with the LTS viburnum, it was missing part of its config – no default route had been added to the box :(

I was making some changes to the routing protocol on the dsl pool and stopped announcing a default to it, at that point it could no longer reach the rest of our network. I reversed the changes as soon as it was noticed and the box is now back in the pool (with the missing config added).

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused

Adsl Connections

Posted: Tuesday, December 12th, 2006 at 09:35 by Neil Watson

We currently have some issues with our ADSL Service, where end users can connect but appear not to route over the network. We are currently investigating the issues and will resolve as soon as possible. We apologise for any problems this may cause. Further updates will be made as soon as possible.

  1. Neil Watson says:

The ADSL issues appear to have been restricted to a small number of users requiring a reboot following on from last night’s maintenance. If you continue to experience issues please ensure that your equipment has been rebooted before calling support. We appreciate you patience and wish to assure you that traffic is flowing as expected.
