Posted: Friday, June 8th, 2007 at 15:59 by Neil Watson

Wednesday 13th June 2007 00.00hrs – 06.00hrs

During the above maintenance window we will be carrying out a series of tasks that will impact users connected to our network in the following locations:

Global Switch: We will be upgrading the router supervisor engine which will involve a period of 20 mins downtime for users connected to global-swith.core.enta.net. This work should not impact our DSL users connected to our Global Switch Centrals.

Telecity HEX 8-9: We will be upgrading a 10 gig blade in telecity.core.enta.net. This upgrade will involve approximately 10 mins downtime for all directly connected users.

Telehouse Metro: We will be upgrading a 10 gig blade in telehouse-metro.core.enta.net. This upgrade will involve approximately 10 mins downtime for all directly connected users.

Interxion: We will be upgrading 2 x 10 gig blade and a gige blade in interxion.core.enta.net. This upgrade will involve approximately 30 mins downtime for all directly connected users.

Telehouse North: We will be connecting a new router into one of our London10gig rings. Following on from its installation there may be a short period of routing instability while we move fiber.

For all of the above work we do not anticipate any downtime for our standard DSL service. L2TP customers located in the above sites will be affected.
