The repair team are on site, we do not currently have an Estimated time to repair.

The Fibre has not been cut, it has been damaged by a fire in an underground car park.

    Current ETR is 18:00

  2. Steve Lalonde says:

Service was restored just after 06:00, a much longer section of fibre had to be replaced than expected.

Email Problems: Entadsl.com sub-domains

Posted: Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008 at 16:56 by Neil Watson

We are currently experiencing problems effecting some customers using  our entadsl.com email addresses. In these cases customers sub-domains, i.e. username.entadsl.com no longer resolve.

Anyone experiencing this problem will need to re-reactivate their account via the control panel link at   www.enta.net/Sites

The control panel can be accessed using the first part of the ADSL username (e.g. the part before @adsllogin.co.uk) and the adsl password.

Major Service Outage – London Area

Posted: Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008 at 13:16 by Neil Watson

We are currently experiencing major service outage in the London area on one of our supplier’s networks, which is affecting multiple circuits including leased lines.

We are working with the carrier to rectify the problem as soon as possible and more information will be made available as soon as we have it.

  1. Neil Watson says:

We have been informed by our suppliers that the major service outage has been caused by contractors accidentally cutting through a cable in London. Work is being carried out to restore the service, however, due to nature of the issue, this is not expected to be resolved before the early hours of tomorrow morning. More updates to follow as and when we have further information. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Planned Maintenance: At Risk – 20 & 21CN DSL Services

Posted: Tuesday, October 21st, 2008 at 16:26 by Neil Watson

Wednesday 29th October 2008, 00.00hrs – 06.00hrs

During the above maintenance period we will be performing planned maintenance that will put a small number of users of the DSL pool at risk. We will be relocating some of the LNS devices to enable us to perform further network maintenance at a later date. We are currently moving traffic from the affected devices, in order to minimise any disruption, however, connected users may be disconnected during the window above.  If any user is disconnected we request that they reconnect, as this will automatically route them to an alternative LNS.

We will pass on more detail as soon as we receive it.
