Posted: Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 at 18:23 by Martyn Haynes

We are aware of a connectivity issue that is affecting our Sheffield and Nottingham pops. We are investigating the issues with our carriers, initial findings show there may be a problem in the Doncaster area.

Further updates will be posted as information becomes available.

  1. Steve Lalonde says:

Conformation has been received that there is a fiber cut north of Sheffield, exact location is unknown.

    Currently no ETR

  2. Neil Watson says:

We’ve been advised that the location of the fibre cut has been found approximately 35Km from Sheffield and engineers have been dispatched to rectify the issue. We currently still have no ETR.

  3. Neil Watson says:

We’ve been advised by the carrier that the ETR for this issue is 08.30.

  4. Neil Watson says:

Service has been restored. We have been advised that there are still engineers on site so there is still an at risk flag against these sites.

  5. Neil Watson says:

Engineers have now left site and this fault is now closed.
