We have just been informed by our carrier that there will be work taking place between Sheffield and Leeds at the above times. Urgent outage required to remove excessive loss which is resulting in hits/errors on a Sheffield to Leeds DWDM system.
No outage is expected as traffic will route to these sites over alternative paths, both sites should be considered at risk during the maintenance window.
Service was restored at 23:24, all traffic is now back on the optimal path and both sites are no longer considered at risk.
