A temporary work around has been implemented to bypass the cause of the problem, which has been identified as a malfunctioning LNS to which we are unable to gain remote access into. Customers that are experiencing problems, and that have not automatically reconnected are advised to reboot their equipment in order to establish a new connection.
The malfunctioning LNS will be rebooted by remote hands after 20:00 this evening. Customers which are still connected through this LNS will experience a short period of disruption whilst this work is carried out.
Further notifications will be added once the work has been completed.
The LNS has now been rebooted and is restored to normal service.
