BT DSL Issues

We aware of a major BT issue that is affecting DSL customers in several geographic areas. The latest information is that it is related to a card fault in Edinburgh and that it affecting the following area codes:

01206
01269
01294
01323
01405
01453
01555
01628
01873
01952
02866

We are working with BT to ensure that users that are currently unable to connect have their service restored as soon as possible and will make further updates as information becomes available.

    We have been informed that technical recovery activities continue, although most customer services have been restored. We are awaiting further information and will pass it on as we receive it.

    BT have informed us that service was restored at 11:55 this morning. Replacement hardware is on site and will be installed during an emergency maintenance window which is scheduled to take place between 00:00 and 06:00 tomorrow morning. Affected customers are expected to experience a disruption of service whilst this work is being carried out.
