VoIP Database Maintenance

Posted: Tuesday, September 13th, 2011 at 09:34 by Jon Farmer

On the morning of the 18th September 2011 we will be making some changes to the database servers we use on our VoIP platform. This is mainly required to improve the capacity and reliability of our VoIP service. During the upgrade there will be some loss of service while we make the necessary changes. We have outlined the planned service availability schedule below.

Between 09:00 and 09:30 there will be a potential loss of inbound and outbound service across the whole VoIP platform. We will endeavour to keep this downtime to an absolute minimum. It is likely that the disruption to this service will last for less than 1 minute and no longer than 5 minutes.

Between 09:00 and 10:00 Synergi and the VoIP Enrich platform should be considered unreliable and any adds, amends, deletes relating to VoIP might not be saved. Please note all other product areas on Synergi will be unaffected by this work.

Between 09:00 and 12:00 all other websites that relate to VoIP should be considered to have the same risk as outlined above. This includes voipuserportal.co.uk, 999location.co.uk and any white label signup scripts we provide. All other scripts that support elements of the VoIP platform will be changed during this period too.

All planned work should be completed by 12:00.
