We are currently dealing with a fault on one of the network links serving our Slough POP. The POP itself and all services terminating on it (including the 20CN and 21CN interconnects) should be considered at risk due to the loss of resilience.
Further updates will be provided as and when the issue has been rectified.
Our supplier has advised that the fault on the network link relates to malicious damage resulting from cable theft. Repair work is underway and we are chasing for an ETR.
Our supplier has advised that they’re currently working towards an ETR of 20:00hrs.
Our supplier has advised that the fault has been rectified and service has been stable for approximately two hours. Resilience to the Slough POP has now been restored and we will keep the circuit under observation.
