Incident: Coventry & Gloucester PoPs

We are currently aware of an issue affecting our Coventry & Gloucester PoPs. Engineers are currently investigating, updates to follow as soon as available.

    This incident was resolved on 31/3/19 at 4.30pm. We have continued to monitor with no further issues. We are working with suppliers to prevent further occurrences.

Incident: Wolverhampton PoPs

We are currently aware of an issue affecting our Wolverhampton PoPs. Engineers are currently investigating, updates to follow as soon as available.

    Investigations have highlighted that there is a confirmed issue on the local power grid. This is affecting several post codes, which also cover the locations of the affected PoPs.

    Further updates will be provided when available.

Planned Maintenance: Telehouse-east4.core

Friday 22nd March 2019 00:01 – 06:00

During the above window we will be completing a planned maintenance to upgrade our aggregation devices on telehouse-east4.core.

We expect all directly connected services to have a maximum downtime of 1 hour. Services include Transit, Leased lines, Wholesale handoff and Pseudowires. Whilst actual downtime is expected to be no more than 60 Minutes, the full 6 hours may be required to account for any unforeseen issues.

Planned Maintenance: Telehouse-north.core

During the above window we will completing a planned maintenance to enhance the security on our aggregation devices on telehouse-north.core.

We expect all directly connected services to have a maximum downtime of 10 minutes. Services include Transit, EWCS, Leased lines, Wholesale handoff and Pseudowires terminating at this location. Whilst actual downtime is expected to be no more than 10 minutes, the full 3 hours may be required to account for any unforeseen issues.

    During this maintenance window, we encountered some unforeseen issues. The configuration changes have been rolled back and normal service has been restored.

    Another maintenance window will be scheduled to complete this work at a later date.

Incident: Legacy VoIP

Our supplier identified an attempt at toll fraud and temporarily disabled outbound calls on Enrich/Express/Easy Access as a mitigation this evening. End users could of course still call 999 and inbound and on-net calls remained available.
We are working with our supplier to restore outbound calling.
Our Hosted and SIP Trunk products were not impacted.

Incident: Vodafone Circuits

We are currently seeing a number of Vodafone circuits are down. Initial diagnostics indicate the circuits are related to a single Vodafone handoff. Suppliers engineers are investigating and further updates will be provided on an hourly basis.

    We believe this issue to now be resolved, supplier engineers have confirmed they are seeing the hub back up and we can now see connections coming back online.

    Please reboot equipment on site prior to progressing any related issues further.

    Information regarding the fix will be posted when the information becomes available.

At Risk: Columbo POP

Friday 8th March 2019, 23:30 – Saturday 9th March 2019, 02:00.

After a power check within Columbo POP, BT identified an issue with part of their power infrastructure within one of our racks. BT supervised by an Entanet engineer will undertake emergency work in the above window to swap out a faulty UPS.

No downtime is expected however all directly connected services should be considered at risk.
