Planned Maintenance: Bradford

During the above window CityFibre will be carrying out a planned maintenance on our network in Bradford.
 
This window does not reflect customer down time, however services terminating in Bradford should be considered to be at risk during this period.
 
Actual downtime will be negligible as customer traffic will be routed through an alternative 10GB link whilst the work is being carried out. The traffic route will be moved onto the new 10GB link at the completion of the patching and configuration work.

At Risk: Peterborough POP

After a power check within Peterborough POP, BT identified an issue with part of their power infrastructure within one of our racks. BT will undertake emergency work in the above window to swap out a faulty UPS.

No downtime is expected however all directly connected services should be considered at risk.

At Risk: Sheffield POP

Power upgrade VeloxServ Wolverhampton

Wednesday 3rd July 2019 06:00 – 17:00.   

During the above window our supplier will be carrying out essential power works to the incoming supply that feeds the suite in this location. No downtime is expected due to the preventative measures being taken, however all services at this location should be considered at risk for the duration of the window.

Incident: L2TP broadband

We are currently aware of an issue affecting authentication for L2TP broadband circuits. Our engineers are working on the issue and further updates should be provided in the next hour.

We apologise to any customers that are impacted and want to reassure you that we are working to return full service as soon as possible.

    Our NOC engineers have resolved an issue with the radius database and we can see services are now reconnecting. Please ask any affected customers to power cycle their router if they are still offline.

Planned Maintenance: Telford Data Centre Closure

Friday 28th June 20:00 to Sunday 30th June 20:00

We are closing the Stafford Park Data Centre located in Telford on 30th June 2019.

As a result the following services will have a maintenance window from Friday 28th June at 20:00 to Sunday 30th June at 20:00 and will be unavailable:

  • Broadband APIs (“PartnerXML”) – no ADSL orders or updates will be available
  • Broadband Radius – you will not be able to change DSL usernames, passwords or IP addresses
  • Trade applications will not be available
  • synergi and eBilling will not be available to query or place orders

These systems will not be available for our teams internally either, so we will be limited as to the support that we can offer.

Planned Maintenance: Miltonkeynes.core

During the above window we will be replacing miltonkeynes.core.enta.net with a higher capacity router.

We expect all services currently terminated in this location to have a maximum downtime of 2 hours. Services include Leased lines, Wholesale handoff and Pseudowires. Whilst actual downtime is expected to be no more than 2 hours, the full 6 hours may be required to account for any unforeseen issues.

All other traffic that would normally route through this location will take alternative paths.

Incident: Telecity outage (Resolved)

We experienced  an issue with connections through our Telecity Hex affecting users on TalkTalk.  This outage lasted around 2 minutes, the cause of which is under investigation. Further updates will be provided shortly

We apologise to any customers that were impacted.

Incident: VoIP registration

We are experiencing an issue with phone registration on SIP and Hosted accounts ordered from myuserportal, which is under investigation. Further updates will be provided by 10:30.

Planned Maintenance: Columbo.core

We expect all services to have a maximum downtime of 1 hour. Services include Leased lines and Pseudowires terminating at this location. Whilst actual downtime is expected to be no more than 1 hour, the full 6 hours may be required to account for any unforeseen issues.
