At-Risk: Preston POP

During the above window, our colocation provider is carrying out planned power work within the point of presence. Although the work is expected to be non-service affecting, services at the location should be considered at risk for the duration.

The planned work is expected to take less than 10 minutes.

During the above window, our colocation provider is carrying out planned power work within the point of presence. Although the work is expected to be non-service affecting, services at the location should be considered at risk.

The planned work is expected to take less than 10 minutes and Entanet engineers will be present for the duration.

  1. The power work was completed with no loss to service. Nottingham core is no longer considered at risk.

Emergency Work: Sheffield broadband users

During the above window we will be performing maintenance on the Sheffield broadband interconnects

We expect a small number of users to be disconnected during the work and should reconnect automatically after a few seconds.

It is possible some users may need to reboot equipment to reconnect.

At-Risk: Faraday POP

We have been advised that during the above window, our colocation supplier will be running the Faraday site on generator backup whilst power infrastructure work is taking place. We do not anticipate any disruption to service, however the site should be considered at risk for the duration of the work.

During the above window we will be moving some customers with EAD circuits directly connected to faraday.core from one switch to another. These customers will be contacted directly before the window and should only experience a small amount of downtime each. However as a precaution we would consider all customers terminating in Faraday at risk.

  1. This work has now been completed and passed the post maintenance check list to ensure customer connectivity has been restored to effected customers.

Emergency Maintenance: Telford DC3

At the time specified above we will be replacing a faulty power supply in the telford-dc3.core router. This router has two supplies so no downtime is expected, but customers located in DC3 should consider their service at risk.

Planned Maintenance: Broadband platform

During the above window we will be performing maintenance on our Broadband Platform.

This work is not expected to be customer affecting.

There will be multiple changes to the routing inside the Broadband platform, some customers may see minor packet loss while the network re-converges after each change.

At-Risk: Cardiff.core

Due to multiple link failures within the network at present, cardiff.core should be considered at risk. Engineers are already working on restoring redundant paths.

Further updates will be provided as and when they become available.
