Planned Maintenance: Scolocate

During the above maintenance window, we will migrating directly terminated customers onto new core equipment as part of ongoing network expansion. Affected customers may experience up to 30 minutes downtime during this window whilst they are migrated to the new device.

All traffic that would normally route through this location will take alternative paths.

During the above window we will be performing necessary power and cable maintenance in the datacenter in preparation for the Installation of new hardware.

No down time is expected and all precautions will be taken to avoid any disruption, however during this time any customers within this data center should be considered at risk.

Any customers that may be at a particular risk due to the power work, will be notified.

During the above window we will be tidying the cabling inside our cabinets in preparation for the installation of replacement hardware in the near future.

No down time is expected and all precautions will be taken to avoid any disruption, however during this time any customers within the data centre should be considered at risk.

Planned work: VoIP platform

During the above window we will be making changes to our VoIP platform to align with changes one of our suppliers will be making. This work has already been proved and our other supplier is unaffected so this is not expected to be customer affecting. No in-progress calls should drop.

    This work was completed although it was necessary to restart some processes. Some calls may have dropped due to this. Monitoring indicates that calls are now completing as normal.

During the above window we will be replacing columbo.core.enta.net with a higher capacity router.

All services currently terminated in this location will be migrated on to the new hardware. This includes DSL, EWCS, wholesale hand-off and pseudowires terminating at this location.

All other traffic that would normally route through this location will take alternative paths.

All services currently terminated in this location will be migrated on to the new hardware. This includes all DSL, EWCS, leased lines and wholesale circuits at this location.

Due to the recent power incidents, BT is performing a full health check within each BT point of presence (POP) where Entanet take services. The health checks should not be service impacting.

Following on from the health check remedial work may be required in some locations. In those instances, planned work and at-risk notifications will be communicated via the comments section of this post. The notification will contain the POP and time-frame it should be considered at risk.
