Planned Maintenance: Telehouse

Wednesday 9th April 2014 00:00 – 04:00

During the above maintenance window we will be upgrading the software on telehouse-north.core.enta.net and telehouse-east3.core.enta.net, this will require the routers to be rebooted.

No customers are directly connected to these routers and traffic through the routers will be rerouted over alternate paths before the upgrade work begins.

Each router will be offline for approximately 30 mins.

During the above window we will be installing additional core routers in both Telehouse East and Telehouse North

The new routers will be connected to the existing routers and several core links will be moved to the new routers. Where a core link is being moved traffic will be switched to alternate paths before the link is moved.

No customer circuits will be moved during this work and no downtime is expected.

During the maintenance window above, the telehouse-east2.core.enta.net router will be rebooted for a software upgrade to resolve some configuration issues. This should take less than 30 minutes to complete, during which time all directly connected customers without backup services will be off line.

This work has been scheduled to coincide with existing planned engineering work to reduce the impact on our customers.

During the maintenance window above, the telehouse-east.core.enta.net router will be rebooted for a software upgrade to resolve some configuration issues. This should take less than 30 minutes to complete, during which time all directly connected customers without backup services will be off line.

This work has been scheduled to coincide with existing planned engineering work to reduce the impact on our customers.

Planned Work: Leased Lines Telehouse

Wednesday 6th October 2010, 00:01hrs – 06:00hrs and Thursday 7th October 2010, 00:01hrs – 06:00hrs

During the  window above, we will be performing essential maintenance on our network involving the replacement of core equipment that terminates any Ethernet based leased lines in Telehouse.  There will be a short (up to approx 15 minutes) outage for each individual circuit that is being moved from the existing router into our new equipment.  Lines will be moved sequentially throughout the maintenance period.

Planned Maintenance: DSL core network

Wednesday 11th August 2010, 00:01hrs – 06:00hrs and
Thursday 12th August 2010, 00:01hrs – 06:00hrs

During the maintenance window above, We will be performing essential maintenance on our DSL network involving software upgrades and changes to the links between the DSL core sites at Interxion and Telehouse adding additional capacity and increasing resilience.

There will be several short (up to approx 15 minutes) outages during this work while routers are rebooted and DWDM equipment is added to the fibre paths between the sites.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
