  1. jonathan clarke says:

Virgin Media has confirmed that a Core failure in London is currently being experienced. Engineers are investigating and attempting to localise the issue. We will update you further when we receive any further updates

  2. jonathan clarke says:

Suppliers have advised that as of 12:54 alarms have been cleared, the root cause still being investigated by engineers. Although services appear to be connecting now, we would still consider these circuits at risk until advised by Virgin Media.

  3. Jonathan Clarke says:

Suppliers have advised that the issue had been part of a link on their network causing the drop in connectivity. This link has been swapped and suppliers have marked the incident as resolved.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

At Risk: Peterborough BT POP

Posted: Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 at 15:52 by Iain Beveridge

Monday 8th April 2019, 23:45 – Tuesday 9th April 2019, 02:00.

After a power check within Peterborough POP, BT identified an issue with part of their infrastructure. BT will undertake work in the above window to replace isolator cables to a power supply board. The supply board provides the A-Feed, generator backed supply to several racks within the MUA including Entanet’s. An Entanet engineer will be on site for the duration of the maintenance to ensure power to our racks is maintained via the unaffected B-Feed.

No downtime is expected however all directly connected services should be considered at risk.

  1. This work is now complete.
