During the above window we will be replacing with a higher capacity router.

All services currently terminated in this location will be migrated on to the new hardware. This includes EWCS, Leased lines, Wholesale handoff and Pseudowires terminating at this location. Whilst actual downtime is expected to be no more than 1 hour, the full 6 hours may be required to account for any unforeseen issues.

All other traffic that would normally route through this location will take alternative paths.

During the maintenance window above, the router will be rebooted for a software upgrade to resolve some configuration issues. This should take less than 30 minutes to complete, during which time all directly connected customers without backup services will be off line.

This work has been scheduled to coincide with existing planned engineering work to reduce the impact on our customers.
