Incident: Glasgow

We have experienced two brief losses of power to our equipment located in our Glasgow PoP. Engineers are investigating with our colocation provider. Power is currently restored however should still be considered at risk. Further updates will be provided when available.

Incident: Nottingham WBC

Engineers are currently investigating an issue causing a loss of service for DSL connections served by the Nottingham WBC node.

Further updates will be provided as and when they become available.

BT 21cn/WBC Faraday Interconnect

We are currently investigating a fault on the Faraday 21cn Interconnect.

    A fault has been raised with BT next update from them will be 12:45. We have also dispatched one of our engineers to cover any issues on our equipment.

    The issue does appear to be related to a BT Major Service Outage. We will continue to push for further updates which will be provided when they become available.

    A BT engineer is now onsite investigating, no ETR yet.

    BT have located a fibre break between our rack and the 4th floor. Now waiting on additional BT engineer.

    We now have our own engineer onsite, unable to restore service as the fault is not in our equipment.

    Additional BT engineer due to arrive at 17:15

    Several BT engineers have been on site for a while now liaising with our engineer.

    Still no ETR

    Fibre break localised estimated 30 minutes to re-splice. We are hopeful this will resolve the fault.

    Fibre has been re-spliced, there is still unacceptably high loss on the link. BT now looking at alternate fibre pair for the section with the loss.

    Service restored users are reconnecting.

    Note: Some users may need to reboot their routers to reconnect.
