Answers to some of the questions we have been asked about IPStream Connect (IPSC)
- What is IPStream Connect? :- IPStream Connect is a replacement for IPStream Central Pipes and its adoption by Entanet allows us to pass end user traffic over our new 21CN backhaul.
- Is IPSC part of 21CN? :- Yes and No, IPSC does use 10 of the same interconnect sites as 21CN, however end user tails remain as 20CN.
- Does IPSC use the same interconnects as WBC? :- IPSC has 10 interconnects which coincide geographically with 10 of the WBC interconnects. However, each of the interconnects at a site are separate cables.
- Will I get ADSL2+ on IPSC? :- No, IPSC is a replacement for IPStream central pipes and provides exactly the same ADSL products that are available on a classic central pipe.
- Does my exchange have to be upgraded to use IPSC? :- No, IPSC interconnects are behind the existing BRAS sites so all existing ADSL enabled exchanges will work with IPSC.
- Do I need to change my login details? :- No, our system has been designed so that all existing connections will work with the same login details they use now.
- Will my IP address change? :- No, all characteristics of the individual ADSL tail and the associated Entanet product remain the same.
- Can I still migrate? :- Yes, you will be able to migrate to or from Entanet by using a MAC as normal.
