Emergency Maintenance: nottingham.core

Tuesday 23rd October 10:00 – 14:00

During the above window, one of our engineer’s will be carrying out essential preventative maintenance within our racks at this location to facilitate emergency power works being carried out by our supplier on Thursday 25th October. While this work is being carried out we expect no disruption to services, however any services terminating at this location should be considered at risk for the duration of this window.

Thursday 25th October 00:00 – 06:00

During the above window our supplier will be carrying out essential power works to both of our racks in this location. No downtime is expected due to the preventative measures taken above, however all services at this location should be considered at risk for the duration of the window this includes; DSL, Leased lines and Pseudowires terminating at this location.

During the above window we will be investigating a potential issue with the power infrastructure at this site. No downtime is expected however all directly connected services should be considered at risk for the duration of this maintenance window.

Incident: nottingham.core

We have experienced an unscheduled reload of our Nottingham core router. All directly attached services will have experienced a brief interruption. Initial investigation suggests this was due to loss of power in the location and engineers are investigating further with our co-location provider. All services are now restored and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Incident: Nottingham WBC

Engineers are currently investigating an issue causing a loss of service for DSL connections served by the Nottingham WBC node.

Further updates will be provided as and when they become available.

Tuesday 19th Jan 2010, 04:00hrs – 04:30hrs

During the maintenance window above the IOS on the router will be upgraded to resolve some configuration issues. This software upgrade will require a reboot of the router which should take approx 10 minutes to complete, during which all directly connected customers will lose connectivity.

Traffic that would normally be routed through this equipment will route via alternate paths.
